BIOGRAPHY

Charlie was an award winning broadcast journalist across America for almost a quarter of a century. He was unique in that he focused on positive news in the often negative world of television news and sports. As a result, he gained access to remarkable mindsets of people and organizations who were able to stay on fire no matter what challenges they faced. He shares their insights so that your people can take their lives to another level.

Charlie won three Golden Microphones for Broadcasting Excellence. He reported or anchored in markets such as New Orleans, Memphis and South Bend. Charlie has interviewed one one one the likes of Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, 8 time Ironman Triathlon winner Paula Newby-Fraser, Burt Lancaster, Marlo Thomas, John Grisham and Jack Klugman. Charlie covered the mystique of Notre Dame Football for sixteen years. He is the author of three books on motivation and humor. "Travels with Charlie: Days in the Broadcast Life," "I Didn't Know You were So Tall!" and "Stoke the Fire Within: A Guide to Igniting your Life." 

Charlie hosts "Travels with Charlie," group motivational experiences which often sell out months in advance. These trips are built on first class customer service, a topic Charlie for which Charlie has a passion!
